I have worked as an Engineer for about 15+ years, the bulk of it was on the Boeing 787 Program as a Manufacturing Engineer, as well as ME Planner and Industrial Engineer. I was involved with this program for most of my career and was lucky be there at the very beginning when the first airplane was built.I have worked with Gulfstream as an ME and GKN as a consultant ME on their Honda Jet manufacturing line and 737 Max lipskins My latest involvement has been with Mercedes Van as one of two IE project lead for their Paint shop on a special team formed to help them achieve rate goals and base line work instruction creation.A side from my career in the aviation field, I've enjoyed technical hobbies such as car restoration and custom building hot-rods. This involve sheet metal fabrication, design (with and without CAD), welding, assembly, powertrain modification and installation, body work and customization, working with fiberglass and composites, to name a few.I have learned and been involved with 3D printing using a Kodama Trinus (Panowin) printer and various slicing programs for a few years now. Using Fusion360 Cad software, I’ve been able to enjoy creating 3D prints of various objects and also design functional pieces, some of which that I have use in my home shop or on my cars. I have also participated in SAE Mini Baja while in college, being part of the very first team that Embry-Riddle as ever had. I was the shop's Foreman/Lead fabricator. We successfully build and participated at the 2005 event with limited funding and limited tools, relying on our team's know how and expertise to overcome building and design challenges.
