Study of the role of active species in plasma-assisted combustion of hydrogen: application to the reduction of NOx emissions

Study of plasma-assisted combustion based on a 0-D kinetics model. This model aims at determining the chemical composition of an air plasma in order to find the best pulse shape to apply to the gas.

I worked within the Life Grid project at GE Grid Solutions - Villeurbanne. A new gas insulated circuit-breaker working with G3 (the substitute for SF6) is developed by the team. I am responsible for the dielectric design of the project.

Among the plasma team of the EM2C laboratory, I participated to the Plasma Assisted Combustion (PASTEC) project. I have performed measurement (Optical Emission Specteoscopy) in order to understand the role of the plasma in the stabilization of an air-methan flame. I presented my work at GEC 2020 (https://apsgec20.onlineeventpro.events/).

I worked 2 years (in parallel of my engineering studies) in the plasma team of the EM2C laboratory. I worked on plasma-assisted combustion and performed several campaign of measurement within these 2 years. I have learn several diagnostics (Absolute Optical Spectroscopy Emission, electrical diagnostic, Ultra-Fast Imaging). I have continued this work full time in a 2 months-internship that lead me to present my results at GEC 2020.

Organization of climbing competitions. Nuit Central Vertical is the biggest student competition in France. It gathers 150 participants. We also organize a bouldering competition of international standing. It gathers 100 participants with a winning prize of 1200€.
