Jay's career journey showcases his progression from an intern to a corporate leader at The Hagerman Group. He started as a field engineer and estimator during his college internship and continued to work with the company until he graduated and secured a permanent position in 2004.Throughout his time at The Hagerman Group, Jay worked on various projects, including notable ones like Lucas Oil Stadium and Ball Memorial Hospital. His dedication and hard work led him to opportunities in different locations, and he eventually settled in Indianapolis, where he met his wife.Over the years, Jay advanced to roles such as Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and eventually, Healthcare Project Executive, where he excelled in building client relationships and improving team processes. During the pandemic, he took on the role of Vice President of Operations for Central/Southern Indiana, managing projects from the Fishers office.In 2024, Jay transitioned to a corporate position where he now oversees the healthcare vertical market for The Hagerman Group across all office locations. This role highlights his leadership skills and industry expertise.Outside of work, Jay enjoys boating, sailing, ice hockey, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter, showing a well-rounded personal life alongside his successful career in the construction industry.
