Responsible for identifying, planning and performing Standards and Compliance related activities, assessing current compliance levels via gap analysis, process improvement, and business transformation to achieve complianceISO 27001, GDPR/Data Protection, Risk, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, Health & Safety, Sustainability.

Responsible for ensuring compliance to all relevant regulations (Telecomms, Data Protection, GDPR, etc) in 24 existing territories and defining compliance requirements for launches in new territories.Working with our lawyers for both existing territories and new launches.Regulatory Compliance subject matter expert working with the Internal Audit function to identify adverse trends, poor controls, and systematic risks.Leading, planning and managing regulatory monitoring activities from business engagement through to assessing the adequacy of the regulatory control environment, risk management, control activities, information, internal and external communications, and monitoring for key risks.Influencing and coaching management to ensure the delivery of action plans resulting from monitoring activities.Co-ordination and submission of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual filings, reports, and metrics.Developing relationships with local regulatory bodies .Managing the political, operational, and reputational implications of decisions and activities arising from regulatory compliance.SME on Know Your Customer (KYC)

I am a senior manager running a team of 25 who cover Operational Insight, Compliance, and Revenue Assurance. My role description is "Responsible for the end to end integrity of the Sky Communication products" My role centers around using statistical and holistic analysis of the end to end processes to ensure that customers are provisioned and billed in a timely and accurate manner and to drive the resoltion of fixes if we identfiy an issue.My team are also responsible for the creation and production of all Operational reporting including monitoring that our customers are getting what they ordered and that it is active when they expected it to be ("Right First Time").I also use my experience in telecoms regulation to ensure that the system/people/processes do not allow or cause Sky to breach any regulatory requirements, this is further tied in with my department's ownership of maintaining our Ofcom Metering and Billing accreditation.I liaise with our third party suppliers, and have a key role in the creation and measurement of both internal KPIs and supplier SLA's.I also attend several industry meetings representing the company and have in the past been chairman of the Geneva User Group, served on the Members Board of Otelo (the Telecoms Ombudsman) and served on the commitee of the UK Revenue Assurance Group.
