As a student assistant at Goethe University, I was responsible for planning and organizing the first Hackathon at Goethe University. The aim of this two-day event with 50 participants was, to develop novel solutions for everyday problems regarding the Goethe University app. This process was guided by experts out of the industry and academia, which I not only acquired but also supervised and coordinated. Furthermore, it was my main duty to create and manage the two-day program with various guest talks. From the first moments of the final decision, up to the days after the event, I was also responsible for the marketing of the event. Last but not least, I was responsible for the statistical analysis of the event data. All of this was done in close cooperation with various members of Goethe University, who together with me, made this event unforgettable. In the end, eight teams presented unique ideas to tackle app-related problems.
