About Jessenia J Barbar

Skilled in negotiations and management with a Master's Degree focused in Criminal Justice & Forensic Science from Saint Leo University, Florida.Graduated in 2012 from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León; Faculty of Politics where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations with emphasis in Foreign Commerce and Customs. She interned at Immigration and Customs Mexico: Administracion Tributaria Servicio de SAT. Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.In 2017 she pursued a career in Criminal Justice, and joined the Houston Police Department where she attended her academy and field training program. In 2019 she was the first female accepted to work in the Special Operations Unit at the Harris County Constables Precinct 4. It was there J.J Barbar began working closely with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office Fraud Division and was recognized for her efforts in investigating crimes related to fraud, identity thefts, embezzlement and other related fraud crimes. In 2021 she obtained her Certification as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
