As a JFrog Developer Advocate I advocate for JFrog products, technologies and innovations in the outside world, as well as a vocal advocate for developers' needs within JFrog. My job is to drive momentum for exciting new technologies through a variety of means – social network engagements, blog posts, but most importantly – meeting developers face to face at conferences and user groups (mainly in the US). Last year (2015) I traveled 150K miles to meet the JFrog customers, users and leads - my job is to make them successful as they build solutions that uses the potential of our products and solutions. I am the public face of JFrog representing these products, speaking at conferences, on panels, at user groups, actively blogging & tweeting, and engaging with press and bloggers.The Developer Advocate position is a senior role and unique role, which requires a combination of great technology skills, outstanding communication abilities, analytical thinking and branding/marketing set of mind.

Lead and participate in the design, development and prototyping of software applications to support BMC innovations efforts.I worked on Proof-of-Concepts of a future products and technology directory of BMC, including massive adoption of NoSQL solutions and microservices, switching to modern technology stacks and tools and state-of-the art methodologies and software development languages and tools.The work provided technical expertise in prototyping of business solutions. and included interaction with peers within BMC, customers and partners.I had technical ownership of multiple applications and worked closely with the functional resources on a need basis to ensure that the applications are fulfilling Customer/BMC's business requirements.Responsibilities: Software design, development and prototyping of applications/solutions using agile methodology. Exercise considerable latitude in translating “lose” customer requirements, mapping them to tangible technical requirements and developing proof-of-concepts spread over one or more 6-8 week sprint’s Collaborate with peers within BMC, customers and partners. Interact cross functionally with customers, account teams, partners, architects, peers across BMC, senior management in the course of the projects. Lead change and continuous improvement for both innovation and processes.
