Responsible for the day to day operations of the Navy Operations Center (NOC), maintaining the Chief of Naval Operations’ 24/7 situational awareness and oversight of the U.S. Navy’s 300K plus active duty personnel, 290 ships and submarines, 3700 aircraft operating worldwide and $160B budget. Directly supports the CNO in his duties to man, train and equip the Navy and in his role as the President of the United State’s primary advisor on Naval and Maritime Matters.

Provide senior crisis response and continuity of operations leadership, ensure quality and timeliness of senior leader briefings, and maintain global situational awareness for the Chief of Naval Operations through geographically distributed Maritime Operations Centers.

Commanded the Pacific strike helicopter weapons school, responsible for the tactical training and standards compliance of Pacific Fleet helicopter squadrons. Led 50 direct report military and civilian personnel including instructor pilots, instructor aircrewmen, intelligence specialists, ordnance maintenance instructors, and administrative support. Continually assessed operational requirements to develop flight, simulator, and academic training curricula and tactical compliance standards used by over 600 pilots and aircrewmen across ten squadrons. Conducts flight, simulator, academic, and ordnance training on site in the Western USA, Hawaii, and Japan.Annually delivered 6 advanced maritime strike helicopter tactical training programs . Each program, coordinating operations, maintenance and ordnance functions, of an average of 7 helicopters, including $1 million flight hours , maintenance , travel and logistics budget, and 24 live missiles and torpedoes.

Led planning and operations of a multinational, cross-­functional team tasked with training NATO’s International Security Assistance Force, Kabul Afghanistan to conduct full-spectrum combat and counter-terrorism operations.Exploited made-for-purpose and industry standard information security and assurance techniques to capture, store, transport, and reconstruct all of ISAF’s raw data from the combat zone in Afghanistan to the safety of the training center in Norway with 100 percent fidelity and ZERO security violations.

Squadron Maintenance Officer. Responsible for all aspects of maintenance of 13 SH-60B and 2 SH-60F Helicopters. Managed 250 Maintenance Technicians. Recognized as the Squadron’s Officer of the Year.Helicopter Detachment Officer in Charge. Commanded an embarked special operations capable helicopter detachment composed of 2 SH-60B helicopters, 6 combat aircrews and 28 maintenance technicians during multiple deployments.

Responsible for the scheduling of up to 30 Instructor Pilots, the flight training of 50 Fleet Replacement Pilots and the proper utilization of 15 SH-60B Helicopters.
