I lead a team of content creators to bring Our Future Health’s brand to life across all public-facing material, including editorial, digital, and analogue content.This involves:- Owning the look and feel of all public-facing material, so that it’s on-brand and on-message.- Devising and owning the organisation’s content strategy, and working with key stakeholders across the business to ensure that it is communicated and delivered.- Managing, leading, and developing a multi-skilled team that includes editorial writers, content writers, content designers, videographers, and graphic designers.- Overseeing the creation of marketing materials, across online and offline channels.- Overseeing a multi-channel editorial content calendar, with a focus on inspirational human stories and supportive expert contributions.- Overseeing the organisation’s content design processes, so that digital products present a seamless and on-brand user experience.- Being a guardian of the brand and supporting the organisation to speak and write with consistency of voice and phrase.

I established Our Future Health's editorial platform from scratch, to help the recently-founded charity tell its story to the public.This included a focus on compelling case studies that articulated the human heart of Our Future Health; and interviews with experts in the research field, to communicate the programme's scientific rationale.

Lead a team of commissioners to create all daily features, across digital and print

I oversaw the digital strategy and execution of The Telegraph's lifestyle features. This included:- Leading various content teams to commission and produce on-the-day and planned content- Daily liaison with section editors, designers, and social media stakeholders, to ensure content was executed to a premium standard and promoted to a wider audience- The use of analytics to inform editorial strategy and content decisions- Assuming a prominent role in editorial conferences

I worked across The Telegraph's lifestyle department, identifying opportunities in the digital space and bringing them to fruition. This included:- Telegraph Health & Fitness. I launched the channel in Aug 2017, targeting midlife readers who were looking for accessible and digestible health guidance. I oversaw the content calendar, edited the site on a day-to-day basis, ran a daily email newsletter, and produced expert-led live events.- Telegraph Recommended. I launched this reviews channel in Oct 2018, emphasising authority and integrity as the heart of The Telegraph's affiliate marketing strategy. The section conducts hands-on testing of consumer products, from smartphones and 8K TVs to frying pans and heated clothes airers, offering the reader trusted insight into what they should - and shouldn't - buy.- Telegraph Family. Launched in Sept 2018 to target The Telegraph's significant pool of midlife parent readers. Included the creation of a weekly parenting email newsletter.

After being promoted to Editor of Telegraph Men, I took sole ownership of the channel, ensuring it hit internal targets while leading the news agenda. Responsibilities included:- Setting the overall content strategy- Commissioning and editing all stories that were published on the channel (three to four articles daily)
