Assignment April 2009 to Present - Ericsson, acting as Customer Support Engineer to Rogers Communications. Act as national expert assisting engineering, operations and performance groups resolving uplink interference on HSPA, GSM & LTE radio systems. Resolve issues ranging from simple interference, frequency conflicts, system configuration, and passive intermodulation. Collect video, photos and test results to build case reports & training materials. Train company personnel nationwide. Develop remote control methods to support interference observations from remote radio units. Develop software to identify hidden interference issues. Review new test equipment, provide purchase recommendations for national operations budgets. Provide expert support for new passive in-building DAS construction. Wrote RF test acceptance spec for neutral host systems. Wrote RF test specification for new DAS construction resulting in extremely high quality DAS systems. Developed test methods to identify PIM test set quality, PIM construction stability, PIM construction quality. Wrote and performed PIM training class for new construction contractors, project managers, system designers, operations personnel. Work with construction contractors as inspector, expert technical support. Work with vendors to develop DAS-appropriate PIM test sets. Perform product testing on passive DAS components.Assignment - February 2014 - Anritsu Corporation , Morgan Hill, CA. Worked with PIM test product manager. Executed experiments intended to provide insight into product development for tower, in-building DAS systems. Wrote Python scripts to automate testing. Documented insight into PIM and RF interference products regarding cellular operator use.Assignment - March 2013 - Rogers Communications in Vaughan, Ontario. DAS construction mgr for DAS used for training field technicians. Completed a 28 antenna DAS in 3 wks using a new contractor. Met or exceeded all test requirements.

1. Perform cell site interference identification for customer UMTS network. Work with customer, vendor representatives to rule out potential interference sources. Identify and document interference sources, use direction finding gear to localize sources.2. Database and engineering tool automation for Sprint WiMAX backhaul project. Performed database design, maintenance and data loading. Wrote data quality reports, performed analysis for engineering leads. Wrote tool to generate over 1500 deliverable documents, including automatic rack face creation, bill of materials, equipment configuration. Wrote a tool to collect completion statistics on deliverable documentation.

Technical Consultant to Vixxi Solutions, researching E911 call delivery concepts for IS-41 (CDMA) and PCS1900 (GSM) systems.

Developed parsers, loaders and reports for a wireless product performance solution. Wrote requirement and design documentation. Created task automation tools using Perl, Oracle, and Sybase. Designed and supported other process automation tools as necessary, using Perl, ASP.net (C#) JavaScript, Oracle, Sybase. Drove ISO process compliance, developed job aids, performed quality control testing.
