He is one of only 7 South Carolina Fellows in the International Academy of Family Lawyers. Ben is a Board-Certified Family Trial Advocate by The National Board of Trial Advocacy, and he holds an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and a perfect 10.0 rating from Avvo. Ben realizes that it takes much more than technical proficiency to be an effective family law and divorce attorney. A quality family law attorney must also be able to understand his clients’ problems and the emotional and human nature of the issues people face when going through a family crisis.Ben has been featured in numerous publications, including Forbes, ABA Journal, Law Practice Today, Lawyers USA, SC Lawyers Weekly, GSA Business, and Mac | Life. He previously served as Chair for both the SC Bar's Family Law Council and the Family Law Section of the South Carolina Association for Justice.
