*Manage day-to-day production requirements for Co-packaging, Injection and Containers Departments operations.*Determine staffing requirements. Interview, hire, train, and review performance of employees.*Generate and implement strategies to improve efficiency throughout the departments.*Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the departments.*Enforce PAP, customers, state, and federal requirements.*Establish, implement, and enforce departmental standard operating procedures.*Review, approve and enforce food safety, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.*Manages work in process (WIP) and finished products inventory levels.*Coordinate and report physical inventories as demanded by finance and customers.*Prepares Containers, Co-Packaging and Injection Departments production schedules to ensure optimized production cost and reduced downtimes.*Troubleshoot and adjust machine parameters to ensure conformity and quality.*Coordinate Co-packaging, injection molding and blow molding equipment availability for repair and maintenance.*Verify paperwork for Injection and Containers departments.*Interfaces with suppliers and customers.*Together with Admin and/or Finance coordinate purchasing of raw materials and packaging supplies.*Gather and link information, resolve discrepancies, and make strategic recommendations.*Monitor Containers and Injection Departments QC hold inventory and determine final disposition.*Works with QA Manager to manage customer complaints.o Ensure compliance to customers’ specifications.o Perform investigations to determine root cause of consumer and customer complaints.o Complete the Quality Assurance Report (QSE) required for the Containers and Injection Departments.o Communicate with the customers and visit them as required.*Ensure cleanliness and maintains safe work environment within Co-packaging, Injection and Containers Departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Trains and directs team members using SOP’s, GMP’s and document control systems.*Completes and ensures all necessary paperwork, documentation logs, housekeeping logs and check-off lists for the shift are complete. *Ensures all GMP’s, SOP’s and safety policies are followed.*Oversees production efficiencies and quality for all products produced. *Updates status board, monitors machinery operations, preforms’ quality control inspections. *Makes process adjustments and production changes*Assures duties are performed and production floor and warehouse/grounds are kept clean. *Coordinates staff-break and lunch periods, maintains operations during staff absences.*Reports staffing needs and performances to Container Supervisor and or Operations Manager. *Maintains proper paperwork documentation of employee’s performance.*Performs mold changes following Sop’s and using Mold change checklist.*Assist in replacement of parts on equipment, when necessary.*Shift leader must ensure all functions pertaining to this work station, equipment and surrounding areas must be completed and recorded to ensure compliance with federal, state, customer and company requirements. *Assist in maintaining overall security of the PET employees, building(s), visitors, and contractors.*Enforce established policies and procedures (Food Safety, Security & Emergency documents, other).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Must follow and enforce PAP Procedures, quality and compliance requirements.*Performs QC Inspection and performance testing for Containers and Preforms*Tests include but are not limited to Section cuts, Burst and Top Load Testing, Cross cuts, Visual Inspections, Rework, etc.*Responsible to document QC Records and immediately report quality issues to QA and Operations Manager.*Responsible for product quality and disposition at all times. *Assign and maintain QC Hold Logs and Tags.*Performs, maintains and summarizes Statistical Process Control Analysis (SPC).*Oversees Production quality, housekeeping and assures duties are performed safely.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Maintains raw materials work in progress (WIP) for Containers and Co-Packaging Cells.*Provides supplies to the Containers and Co-Packaging Cells, such as: stretch wrap, strapping, WIP preforms, empty pallets, Slip-sheets, label and packaging bags for milk production, pallet tags, case trays, labels and caps.*Performs daily forklift inspections and reports any issues to Shift leader immediately.*Fills out and maintains documentation of forklift inspection log.*Fills out production tags accurately.*Follows lot numbering system guidelines and SOP.*Maintains a clean and safe work area.*Performs assigned housekeeping duties.*Fills out and maintains documentation of housekeeping log for assigned area.*Operates forklift in a safe and professional manner.*Provides relief help during lunch and breaks.*Material Handlers must ensure function pertaining to this work station, equipment and surrounding areas must be completed and recorded to ensure compliance with customers specifications and company standards such as GMP’s, SOP’s, ISO2200 and PAS220.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Inspects PET products for defects.*Reports any defects or abnormalities to Shift Leader immediately.*Operates palletizing machinery.*Performs palletizer changeovers including conveyor systems.*Performs daily scrap count reporting and report information to Shift Leader.*Regrinds clean daily scrap rejects. *Assists Material Handler in loading slip sheets and top frames. *Loads empty dispensers as needed.*Performs Housekeeping Activities.*Maintains a clean and safe work area.*Performs assigned housekeeping duties.*Fills out and maintains documentation of housekeeping log for assigned area.*Provides relief help during lunch and breaks.*Inspector Packers must ensure function pertaining to this work station, equipment and surrounding areas must be completed and recorded to ensure compliance with customers specifications and company standards such as GMP’s, SOP’s, ISO2200 and PAS220
