I have always been passionate about problem-solving and enjoy overcoming challenges. Both in my professional and academic career, I actively sought opportunities to tackle difficult tasks. After graduating from Wichita State University, Sherwin-Williams recruited me into their management training program. I was eventually relocated to Liberal, KS, as an assistant at my first store. Over the past five years, I have gained extensive experience in managing all aspects of a business, including overseeing employees, daily operations, sales, and long-term strategic planning.Currently, I am the manager of the Cushing, OK, Sherwin-Williams store. I oversee a team of three employees, manage inventory worth over half a million dollars, and handle yearly sales of nearly $2 million. While my store caters to retail and wholesale customers, most of our business comes from the pipeline industry. This requires sales and customer service skills and technical knowledge to communicate with our customers effectively. I possess knowledge of corrosion protection and understand which of our products best meet our customers' needs based on their specific requirements.While working, I'm pursuing an MBA at OSU's Spears School of Business. My passion for knowledge has always been integral to my personal and professional growth.
