• Development of Operating System initialization Built In Tests (BIT) for the Joint Strike Fighter’s F136 Alternate Engine, used to determine if the hardware is functional upon engine power-up. o Created and implemented new low level algorithms from high level requirements and verified that they were correct o Ensured all communication busses were fully functional upon start-up. Essential for a duel processor system with a separate Digital Signal Processor (DSP) o Designed start-up BIT software for new hardware, including an override of the watchdog monitor, used to decrease boot times while aircraft is hovering o Integrate OS changes on Full Authority Digital Engine Controls (FADEC) hardware using test equipment monitor, logic analyzer and Wind River VisionICE• Updated of FADEC and GP7200 Operating Systems o Volunteered to assist AFDX designer on updates to the baseline GP7200 design, allowing schedule to be met• Interfaced and trained contracting companies in India, testing practices• Developed and implemented Requirement Based Test environment for F136 Digital Signal Processing
