• Co-taught "The Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence" . The class maps the global evolution of AI governance, explores alliances between various stakeholders, and illustrates the growing importance of tech diplomacy for collaboration, cooperation, and competition.• A graduate-level international relations course in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown University.

• Interests included the global coordination and governance strategies for machine learning and artificial intelligence, the security implications for emerging technologies, and the potential geopolitical consequences of climate change.• Visiting Fellow in the Foreign Policy program at Brookings, affiliated with the Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology Initiative, and the Center for Security, Strategy, and Technology. • Advanced science and innovation as a means to promote human welfare, enhanced federal research support, and promoted evidence-based public policy informed by psychological science. • Advocated for research investigating elements of applied psychology, the social and behavioral dimensions of climate change, and the deployment of emerging technologies in communities (i.e. future of work, AI, autonomous vehicles), among other issues.

• Facilitated the administration of two cross-cutting brain-related programs and two artificial intelligence (AI) competitions at NSF: 1) computational neuroscience (multi-lateral partnerships with NIH and Spain, Germany, France, Israel, and Japan), 2) interdisciplinary neuroscience (intra-agency), 3) fairness in AI (w/ Amazon), and 4) the inaugural National AI Research Institutes (co-funding w/ USDA-NIFA, DOT, DHS, and VA). • Conducted a funding portfolio analysis of NSF brain-related fundamental research sparked by the White House BRAIN Initiative, for the Directorate of Computer & Information Science & Engineering (CISE).• Placed in the Division of Information and Intelligent Systems (IIS), studying the interrelated roles of people, computers and information to increase the ability to understand data, as well as mimic the hallmarks of intelligence in computational systems.

Served as a client-facing leadership consultant conducting searches for exclusively nonprofit organizations: higher education, conservation and environment, associations, foundations, and biomedical research institutes. Some previous clients include Tuskegee University, the University of Chicago, the American Board of Family Medicine, the Massachusetts Trial Court, the Research Corporation for Science Advancement, and the Trust for Public Land.Since 1982, Isaacson, Miller has recruited diverse leadership for the nation's civic infrastructure. Almost all clients are not-for-profit organizations meeting demands of both mission and market.
