John grew up in Northern California’s Bay Area and relocated to Southern California to attend UCLA.During his time at UCLA, John was Team Captain and Academic All-American on the Men’s Water Polo Team, winning a Division I NCAA Championship in 2004. In 2005, John was awarded the Jack Bariteau Jr., “Most Inspirational” Award for his extraordinary play and exceptional daily work ethic. After school, John entered the commercial real estate field where he spent 2 years with the boutique firm, Douglas Emmett. In 2007, John started his career in the mortgage business where he has held several customer facing and leadership roles throughout his 15+ year career. John is an avid UCLA and Laker’s fan, and in his free time enjoys swimming and coaching youth water polo.
