Cat4RoadHaulier, the main software application of GreenCat, is a multi-modal transport management system. As Product Manager I turned this into a standard, resellable product. A Roadmap for future developments was created, along with proper user documentation, default implementation plan and training scheme. The introduction of Release management became the basis for a steady and controlled software development process. Also the organizational culture was turned around from a project-oriented into a customer-product driven one.
The Transport Division had a growing need for a generic ERP solution that had to cover all of the business processes (CRM, order management, transport planning, support sorting machines , invoicing, BI). As Projectmanager I redesigned the business processes, managed the supplier selection process and implemented the application.
Apart from the transport of their own (book)shipments, Centraal Boekhuis also provides 3rd party transport services. In this period I was both Account Manager for a number of European customers and Customer Service Manager, taking care of the back-office processes (10 FTE)
The Logistic Services department (20 FTE) supported the logistic operation of the company with all administrative processes. Procurement, ordermanagement, planning, returns, quality management etc.
HRM plays a crucial, leading role at Centraal Boekhuis. In this environment I was responsible for the HR management for the Director Operations (400 FTE, 7 managers). All possible HR activities were present, organizational development being the most important one.
