Jonathan Michaels MD, MPH & MHA is a US-educated physician seeking a full-time role in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, within the healthcare pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors. His clinical experience ranges from internal medicine (hematology/oncology, rheumatology, CNS) to surgery, psychiatry, OB/GYN, and Pediatrics. He also has experience with healthcare system finance and financial modeling, and equity research. Jonathan earned a dual degree as an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins with a B.Sc. in Biology emphasizing biochemistry and a B.A in Latin American Studies focusing on economics and policy. He also holds an MPH and MHA both from New York University (focusing on clinical research and healthcare management) and completed Chicago Medical School at RFUMS, passing the USMLE Step 1/2CS & 2CK national exams while at Chicago Medical School. Jonathan has numerous years of clinical research experience working with Ph.D. and Medical Fellows at the Weiss Memorial Hospital, AMITA (Alexion Brothers) and Adventist healthcare systems in the Chicagoland area. He has also conducted research, medical rotations and clinical work at top clinical and research facilities such around the country such as DeKalb Medical Center and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Montefiore In New York as well as previously mentioned hospitals in the Chicagoland area as well as Cook County Hospital. During medical school, he worked as a teaching assistant in Cellular/ Molecular biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, and Pharmacology). At JHU, he was a brother of the AEPi fraternity, and to this day teaching CPR for the American Red Cros. Dr. Michaels is seeking a challenging and demanding role as an associate in Clinical Research or Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology. He is trying to leverage both his knowledge of medicine, as well as public health (sp. Biostatistics and Epidemiology) and finance as part of a multi-functional team.
