Self-taught full stack web developer who enjoys crafting websites centered in the user experience and pays attention to details. I've been coding for solving problems and for fun for 15+ years.As a physics and thermodynamics professor, I use my programming skills to solve problems ranging from data analysis and quiz generation to metaheuristic optimization. In our last research project, I collaborate on the creation and implementation of a metaheuristic algorithm to solve a high dimensionality, nonlinear coupled partial differential equations problem.I build administrative applications for my university using PHP, Yii, JavaScript and MySQL. The last application we built together was a tool for tracking the progress of research projects in the university.After realizing I enjoy building programs, especially websites, more than any other step in the problem solving process, I registered on Free Code Camp to hone my JavaScript skills while I help fellow students in the chat rooms and build projects for nonprofits.
