Web Design + Marketing Assistant393 Media Aug 2005 - Dec 2005393 Media owned and operated a few adult entertainment websites.My job was to create landing pages, edit longer videos into clips, create picture galleries from stills of videos, submit my landing pages to 1000's of directories (there was an app for that), and interact with other website owners & other community based activities through message boards.It definitely was an interesting experience, I learned a lot about community & perception management as well as got to really brush up on my rapid production/prototyping skills – but honestly, it was weird working at a place I couldn't tell my grandma about – so once my initial contract was up, I declined the offer to continue.

I learned a ton, got to work on a huge number of projects and really got a great understanding of what it would be like being a designer at an agency.Some of my highlights include: • Designing, printing & building the massive "topography" table for a developer – it's the 3d map of the development where they can mark which houses have been for sold and which are still available. • Animated a video from scratch that was projected on the wall behind the raised metal logo (made out of chrome, mounted on the wall) • Designing my first (and only) freeway billboard
