I was lucky enough to work with world-class recording engineers, get all the coffee, listen to their conversations, setup and tear down sessions, offer Mac-computer advice, and once got to work on the Trident A-series recording console Bowie recorded on. The highlight of it all though was dusting-off the many times platinum and diamond plaque for a small band that recorded there called Nirvana with their album titled 'Nevermind'.

For a summer, I was lucky enough to work at the coolest, best, independent record label in the world. These are the highlights:I got to dust off the plaque for the 11-times platinum and (still) best-selling independent record of all time - Offspring's Smash (people trust me to dust, see Smart Studios).As temp. receptionist, I got to "buzz" Sonny Moore into the building. Sonny was in-between projects from his Epitaph band From First To Last, and was pitching his new "DJ" project. The project was Skrillex.I also performed a lot of various marketing, shipping, and promotional tasks. The highlight of it all was getting to be an "extra" in the Motion City Soundtrack music video for "This Is For Real" - can you spot me? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAO8jKMm8WcOnce, Brett G., the owner of Epitaph and guitarist in Bad Religion requested I ride his custom 10k bicycle at the company party (against my protests). It was in the steep Los Angeles Griffith Park hills and I couldn't stop and had to bail on his bike as I almost got smoked by a Porsche. Brett was laughing and exclaimed "I thought I was going to lose my best intern!" True story.
