I am an associate in the Securities and Capital Markets Group in BLG's Vancouver office. I focus my practice on general corporate matters, corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, compliance matters, and mining. I act for public and private companies and underwriters in connection with mergers & acquisitions, initial public offerings, private placement transactions and corporate reorganizations. With my colleague Danielle Lewchuk, we co-founded the mentorship circle program in 2014. I also founded Driven By Women™ in the fall of 2016. I work with a dedicated group of professionals who want to support female-led and female-founded companies through Driven By Women™. This BLG initiative is tailored to meet the needs of female led companies. We partner with female entrepreneurs who have founded or lead businesses with: (1) a developed business plan, (2) existing funding or annual income, and (3) plans for scaling up.I am involved with our sister/brother initiative - StartUp & Grow™ - that offers practical, efficient legal solutions tailored to meet the needs of entrepreneurs, start-ups, early-stage, and growth-stage companies, and also includes flexible fee arrangements.

Developed the organization's constitution, finalized the strategic plan, facilitated the operational plan process, mentored partnering youth organizations and participated in multiple human rights sessions

Developing an English Training program for Call Center agents, while enhancing English for officers and other employees through soft skill training sessions. Also working on a 3 step Student Strategy, aimed to assist soon-to-be-grads transition into the working world, and organizing Learning Cafes, a place where employees can share their skills and knowledge with one another. A member of the Customer Advocacy Department and the Human Resources Department, while working with employees throughout the organization.

Worked with a team of over 50 full-time staff and over 30 elected student officials towards bettering the undergraduate student experience at the UofC. Key duties included representation to the university administration, media, all three levels of government and providing appropriate and necessary services to students on campus.

During the summer months I created and implemented a financial campaign targeting students. The student campaign included promotional material, contests, sponsors, a scholarship, and website development. I was also trained as a personal banking assistant and worked part time Sept-Nov on further implementation of the student campaign.
