Responsibilities included increasing flow of greater solution quality and value, leading IT as a lean-agile business, overseeing multiple IT units such as App Dev, Prod Support, QA, Business and Solution Analysis, and Data Base Management. Directional responsibilities involved re-platforming, converting and implementing multiple, integrated delivery systems, as well as directing design, development, delivery and support of a suite of applications. Business units served included finance and accounting, enrollment, underwriting, claims and customer service, billing, sales and marketing and more. Companies served in this capacity include Medco Health Solutions(Express Scripts), Safe Auto Insurance, OpenOnline, Affiliated Computer Services(Zerox), The TriZetto Group(Cognizant), and Florida Health Choice.

As programmer/analyst and application development team leader, I applied (now known) lean agile principles and practices through increased business involvement in development and delivery of complex, state-of-the-art solutions to yield greater business outcomes. Companies served in this capacity include Florida Health Choice, Family Health Plan of Ohio, The MedStat Group, AAA of Michigan, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio(Medical Mutual), S.S.O.E., Inc., and dozens of health care payers and pharmacy benefit managers.
