One of the biggest achievements of my career was the dramatic turnaround of South Africa’s biggest local premium beer, Castle Lite. I was responsible for the 2009 packaging redesign of the brand, including the development and introduction of the snowcastle and thermo-chromatic ink, as well as the in-market turnaround Through-The-Line (TTL) campaign. The brand, which was declining in May 2009, grew with more than 15% in the first year after I started working on it and is still growing rapidly.
