• Worked alongside designated project managers on all stages of the project, from construction to opening the retail outlet. • Researched, sourced and ordered construction materials, retail outlet fixtures & fittings and product lines carried. • Handled logistics for each stage of the project, ensuring construction materials and fixtures & fittings were delivered on site at the correct time and retail products were delivered to the warehousing facility.• Carried out quality and quantity control checks on all materials and products delivered. Dealt with all irregularities that arose. This included all incorrect, damaged or missing items.• Configured the Internet based VEND© Point Of Sale system for the retail side of the business. This included creating the database of over 3000 products carried. Produced individual bar-coded and security tags for every single item carried.• Trained the permanent sales staff in using the POS system, credit card handling, SKU tagging, security tag activation/deactivation and monitoring/repairing the mobile telecommunication based Wi-Fi network. • Resulted in the successful opening of stage one of the project on the 22nd May 2015.
