For my position in the group sales office at Jay Peak Resort, I was responsible for booking and coordinating year-round day group business within the 3-4 hour drive market. This includes managing college season pass sales through campus reps in the Northeastern United States and Quebec, as well as selling and coordinating offsite bulk ticket sales to businesses throughout the Northeast and Quebec. Other responsibilities include working with area lodging partners to promote offsite lodging packages and developing new marketing initiatives to boost resort group sales.

Burlington, Vermont Area

During my time at the University of Vermont, I worked at American Flatbread, a restaurant in Burlington known for its wood-fired artisan pizza as well as being paired with Zero Gravity Craft Brewery. I learned the in-and-outs of the restaurant and the bar.

Norwell, Ma

During my internship at Clean Harbors, I was hired to record and organize all financial and administrative data for the company's many leased properties into online lease accounting and analysis software, LeaseCalcs. In addition to learning the layout of lease agreements and amendments, I also learned how companies negotiate and write lease agreements as well as price different properties. I was also assigned to projects involving researching different properties for the company to purchase or rent. As LeaseCalcs is a software just recently adopted by Clean Harbors, I was involved in many meetings and conference calls in which I learned the software and taught it to others.

Burlington, Vermont Area

During my summer as a painter, I learned many labor-intensive skills such as preparing, priming, and painting the exterior of homes in the greater Burlington area. I was responsible for handling ladders, machinery, power tools, and other painting equipment in a safe and efficient manner. In addition to these various skills, I was also able to learn about the pricing of various projects and the day-to-day operations of a small, independently-owned company.

During my time as a ski instructor, I taught children and adults how to ski. I was responsible for my students' learning experiences as well as their safety on the mountain during any conditions. During breaks, I took care of children during day-care.

Marshfield, Massachusetts

During my time as a lifeguard, I was Lifeguard Certified and CPR Certified to ensure the safety of patrons. I was stationed at various beaches run by the town of Marshfield and maintained lifesaving equipment and performed first aid and rescues. I was later promoted to Lifeguard Supervisor in which I monitored the lifeguards stationed at the various beaches and responded to any dangerous situations.
