I'm a multi-disciplinary artist based in Pakistan, graduated from a research based post graduate degree in Art and Design Studies from BNU, Lahore. I'm exploring different qualitative and visual research methods, participation and socially engaged art and design practices. I am very passionate about inclusivity in art and looking at art outside of art institution and market.My practice today started when I facilitated art workshops for those who aren't professional artists. My greatest accomplishment and biggest workshops has been with 100 students of TCF college, Qayyumabad.For 5+ years I have been working on my art practice and making art accessible, making zines, delivering talks and lectures, contributing to online blogs and also engaged with different international corporate companies, NGOs, publishing houses and individual artists as a digital illustrator, writer, strategist, content developer and marketing consultant. As a freelance illustrator, designer and consultant, I have helped several artists and writers in getting their first books self-published. I have been a part of gender rights and menstrual health advocacy through different forms of art and media.Apart from being an artist and writer, I am also a tarot reader and a fan of everything occult and Jungian. I aim to create a career in visual research, participation and publication in arts and fusing contemporary artistic practices with occult, folklore or pre-history.Currently, I'm employed at The Ascent Digital as Senior Executive - Production, where I provide editing services for self-published non-fiction and fiction books.
