CurrentOrchestrate the successfully completion of many build-to-print and R&D projects meeting customer engineering and quality requirements, on or under budget and deliver on-time for the U.S. Navy nuclear program. Achieved 100% hardware on-time delivery for the past 9 years. Analyzed and implemented process improvements in test, quality and pack and shipment departments to increase margins on PROM burning program. Successful completion of monthly EAC and ETCs on over 40+ projects to achieve smooth monthly revenue recognition. Avoid project requirements scope creep by negotiating closely with customer and monitoring internal engineering team. Persuade customer to implement hardware delivery dates that are realistic and negotiate new dates when needed. Add value to process flow by implementing changes based on performed internal audit reviews. Overhauled evaluation and repair process to minimize labor hours, reducing material cost and improving total start to finish turnaround time by 50%. Working with customer/Navy software security group to implement tamper resistant packaging and additional monitoring systems to insure complex finished product is not tampered with from our location to Navy vessel installation. Worked closely with purchasing department to reduce long lead component lead times by 25% by re-prioritizing which components to focus on first and spearheading engineering effort to locate alternate parts with better lead times. Under new management PWA assembly house terminated open POs. Supervised the setting up of new PWA assembly house which included new requirements for PWA wash, AOI screening and new 3D x-ray. Started receiving successfully tested PWAs within 3 months.
