With a solid decade dedicated to hands-on operational roles within both nuclear and combined cycle power plants, I have developed a robust technical knowledge of the day-to-day requirements to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable energy generation. My experience spans a range of essential functions, from system troubleshooting and maintenance, to maintaining strict safety standards and enhancing operational efficiencies.In addition to my operational expertise, I embraced my role as college instructor, where I had the privilege to share my knowledge and passion for power plant operations with aspiring energy professionals. This experience as a lead instructor at Estrella Mountain Community College allowed me to design and deliver courses tailored to the Energy Department of the Occupational Education Division. My approach to teaching was characterized by a hands-on, engaging methodology that bridged theory with practical application, preparing students for the real-world challenges they will face in the energy sector.My time as an instructor not only strengthened my technical knowledge, but also honed my abilities in communication, mentorship, and curriculum development.
