Greetings! I'm Jonathan Brimer, a proud co-owner of Select Shades LLC. My journey began in the city of Lakeland, FL, where I cultivated my roots. A proud alumnus of Florida State University's Dedman School of Hospitality, within the esteemed College of Business, I graduated with honors, laying the foundation for a career that has been as fun as it has been rewarding.I gained professional experience during my well-rounded twelve-year tenure with Marriott. Fueled by a passion for eyewear and event innovation, I transitioned to the sunglasses industry in 2014. I founded Select Shades Eyewear Events, specializing in creating unique sunglasses gifting experiences at corporate events, incentive awards trips, and various celebratory occasions, leaving a lasting impact on honorees.In 2016, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to collaborate with Jason Pittenger to launch Select Shades retail stores. Today, we proudly operate six (and growing) locations across the southeastern United States, with more on the horizon. Our commitment to offering a diverse and personalized sunglasses shopping experience is at the core of Select Shades' success.Beyond the business realm, I find joy in conquering slopes on a snow skiing adventure, exploring new destinations, immersing myself in historical and urban planning literature, or indulging in thought-provoking documentaries and podcasts.A mentor at heart, I derive immense satisfaction from engaging with aspiring entrepreneurs, sharing insights about the joys and challenges of starting and owning a business.
