After Banco Covalto acquired my company Visor, I was asked to lead the technology department for the combined entity and prepare Covalto to accelerate its lead as the bank of the future.

I am honored and humbled to coordinate the workgroup involving Mexican banks, focusing on identifying, quantifying, and reducing AI risks. This initiative aims to establish a robust framework for AI governance, ensuring that risks related to technology are well-understood and mitigated across the financial sector. By bringing together CIOs, security experts, and risk specialists, we will create a comprehensive strategy to manage AI challenges effectively, reinforcing the industry's commitment to secure and responsible AI usage. Through monthly meetings, expert sessions, and collaborative discussions, we aim to foster innovation while maintaining safety and compliance.
