I am currently an ORISE research fellow at the United States Environmental Protection Agency. I am currently doing work related to environmental modelling and regulatory applications. My primary areas of interest are environmental and natural resource economics, energy economics, and applied econometrics.I completed my B.S. and M.S. at the University of Arizona in the Dept. of Agricultural and Resource Economics, with a focus in applied econometrics and data analytics. As a graduate assistant, I gained valuable research and teaching experience in the field of applied economics. I worked on a project studying the impact of the university's athletics department on the Tucson economy, using literature reviews, visitor spending patterns, and economic information. I also assisted with grading assignments, holding office hours, and providing student feedback as a teaching assistant.I completed a data analytics consulting project for American Express, answering questions for them about their credit program and presenting results to corporate stakeholders. In addition, I was a scholar with the Diana Liverman Scholars Program, where I worked with various community partners on environmental communication projects. I was part of a team that helped Project Roots, an urban farming nonprofit in Phoenix, AZ, to map and provide fresh produce to under-served communities in south Phoenix.I have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for environmental issues and social justice.
