In seven countries at that time, with an industrial capacity of 2,5 million tons processed per year of flat carbon steel and 700,000 covered squared meters of industrial capacity, the Bamesa Group, with 800 employees, had net sales in 2006 of aproximately €1,200 MM, out of which €100 MM were generated in the French business unit.Jordi Brossa started leading the Systems, Information Technology and Organization Department in Paris until June 2003.In July 2003 he was appointed Operations Director and Deputy General Manager of Bamesa Cofrafer, French sister company of the Bamesa Group. With a team of 15 members, Brossa was responsible for all purchasing activities of the French site, the annual, quarterly and monthly sales budgets, all the inventory coordination activities, the in/out and in-house stock flows, the production planning and the capacity analysis. At that moment, Brossa reported locally to the French General Manager and theChief Operations Officer of the Bamesa Group in Barcelona.

He was involved in the logistics, materials management, production planning and sales and distribution modules. He was active part in the different roll-outs per site (Barcelona, Valencia, Pancorbo, Seville, Lisbon, Istanbul and Paris).
