Joseph (Jay to his friends) Brown has focused his professional life to being a skilled and regionally responsible desert architect and to the growth of the local firm, Kevin B Howard Architects Inc. Since 1995, he has worked closely with architect Kevin Howard, obtaining his professional architectural license, and a critical part of the creation of the firms own office building in 2007. In 2009 he became a LEED AP and was influential in the development of the new solar power company Solar Path AZ . As the built world changes in the Sonoran Desert, Jay has help push both firms in an environmentally responsible direction.Specialties: Jay’s varied responsibilities range from initiating and developing concepts during the schematic design phase, leading projects through programming to design development, to construction administration, and then to final completion.
