JB is an IT Professional with more than 10-years of experience with comprehensive skill sets acquired from different major industries. Graduated from San Beda University – Manila with a bachelor’s degree in Information and Communications Technology. In 2011, he began his career as a Customer Service Representative and was one of the most promising agents because of his exceptional communication and customer service skills. In the same year, with the desire to pursue the field of IT, he opted to return to Saudi Arabia as a Junior IT Support at Tadrees Holding. He was able to understand the IT landscape and how things work in a business context.In 2013, he wanted to explore new roles in the field of IT but in a larger corporation. He joined one of the leading banks in the Philippines - Bank of the Philippine Islands as a System Quality Assurance Specialist. This is where he learned most of his skills in IT Security Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control. He was responsible for reviewing the systems used by the bank by making sure that changes being made in any system are compliant with the banking standards. He was awarded BPI’s Risk Management Office - Staff of the Year in recognition of his exemplary performance, contribution, professionalism, and effectiveness in the company.In 2015, he moved back to Saudi Arabia and joined Atheeb Intergraph Saudi Company as Network Systems Engineer. This is where he was able to showcase his skills learned from his previous roles and was able to develop his leadership skills. Working under the Technical Support Department, he was assigned to work on not just one, but multiple functions of the department. He was highly effective with the role and proved to be a great asset to the team. This is where he developed his skills in Desktop Support, System and Network Administration, IT Management & Planning, Purchasing, IT Security, and Project Management. In 2022, he decided to move to Vancouver and joined one of the biggest gaming studios of Microsoft in Canada - The Coalition Studio as a Helpdesk Support Analyst. In 2023, with his love for gaming and past technical support experience, he was able to join Sumo Digital's North American studios - Timbre Games & Atomhawk Canada as a Senior IT Technical Support Analyst. He is settling into his new role with the organization and is looking forward to seeing what Canada has in store for him 👾😎
