About Jeff Schnurr

There are a billion people currently living without electricity around the world. I work with some very smart people to try to change that.I believe in a low-carbon future, and am working to dematerialize the world through renewable energy and global connectivity. The technology exists to shift how we live on the planet, and the right combination of entrepreneurship, people and capital can dramatically reduce CO2 emissions. Current projects = solar in Sub-Saharan Africa with Jaza, and trees in Canada/Tanzania with Community Forests International.
