As the Senior Vice President of Student Success at Aurora University, I oversee the student experience and retention, ensuring that every student has the opportunity and support to achieve their academic and personal goals. I have more than 23 years of experience in higher education, ranging from coaching, teaching, and administration, and I hold a Doctor of Education degree in Adult and Higher Education from Northern Illinois University.My core competencies include communication, staff development, and student retention, which I have applied in various leadership roles at Aurora University. I have led the transformation of the School of Education and Human Performance as its Dean, creating highly effective teams that are passionate about serving students. I have also contributed to the strategic vision and direction of the university as a member of the President's Cabinet. My mission is to foster a culture of excellence, inclusion, and innovation that empowers students to become lifelong learners and leaders.
