Work has included groundwater and surface water modeling, sediment transport analysis, geophysics (seismic, potential fields, EM, resistivity, GPR), conceptual site modeling, machine learning, and statistical data analysis. Clients include state and federal agencies such as FDEP, NASA, DOE, and DOD.

Research performed at Columbia University. Primary research focused on the evolution of the Eastern North American Margin. Applied geophysical methods included interpretation of reflection seismic profiles and forward modeling of potential fields. Helped constrain the crustal structure and timing of margin evolution. Geophysical forward modeling of Seaward Dipping Reflector packages suggest that CAMP volcanism occurred over a much longer period than previously suggested.

Ph.D. research performed at the University of Texas Institute for Geophysics. Research focused on numerical modeling of continental rift volcanism and the early evolution of the Indian Ocean. Research using finite element modeling of adiabatic decompression melting provided insight into the relative timing of magmatism and continental breakup. These insights provide critical constraints on the potential thermal evolution of various continental margins, a major parameter in oil and gas exploration. Associated with this work, magnetic anomaly modeling in the Somali Basin provided new constrains on the timing of rifting during East Gondwana breakup. Geophysical synthesis of Enderby Basin helped highlight a wide proto-oceanic crustal domain along the margin, that had previously been interpreted as attenuated continental crust

Geophysics internship for Exxon Mobil Upstream Research Company. Assisted in testing and application of novel proprietary software to characterize tectonic evolution of rift basins.

Internship with the USGS. Internship involved field mapping and analysis of sediment core from Great Sand Dunes NP. Work resulted in two publications that helped characterize the sedimentary evolution of the San Luis Valley

Paleomagnetic analysis of Marwar Supergroup sediments. Research helped establish differences between major Indian sedimentary basins and establish depositional correlations with similarly aged basins across Southern Asia, the Middle East, and Africa

Helped organize regulatory data and paperwork for landfill monitoring sites. Established site history repositories and data entry tables.
