I am the Engineer Officer on the USS Nevada, a nuclear-powered submarine, where I report directly to the Captain and am third-in-command. My role includes ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the nuclear propulsion plant, as well as the training and readiness of its 75 operators. Prior to my current assignment, I served in various other roles within the military where I gained significant experience in leading teams, managing projects, and working with international partners. Additionally, I interned at Emko Capital, a Philadelphia-based private equity firm, where I was exposed to all elements of the deal funnel (e.g., sourcing, modeling, pitching) for multiple lower middle market manufacturing and aerospace companies.Academically, I hold an MBA from the Wharton School, where I graduated top 5% of my class. While at Wharton, I dual-majored in Business Analytics and Management. Additionally, I hold a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the US Naval Academy.Outside of work, I am an avid but mediocre golfer and I enjoy cooking and watching football.
