As my 10+ years in education expands beyond the school-based context, I have developed a clearer vision of the crucial need for employing advocacy and love as tools for collective liberation. At this point in my career, I am seeking to empower educators and youth so that they can experience transformational learning and high-leverage personal development. These goals may be achieved through self and community actualization, critical analysis, and strategic collective action. Considering current equity and antiracist efforts in education, I believe in employing generational knowledge, spiritual practices, embodiment, and critical frameworks to dismantle systemic inequities and actualize ideal realities. Key interests: - Integrating a love ethic, creativity, and embodiment within organizational culture and educational practices - Making visible the invisible - Increasing access and participation of diverse people, especially those who are marginalized- Building capacity through learning and development- Promoting innovation, inquiry, playfulness, and critical consciousness in education
