I enjoy creative problem solving and three-dimensional thinking with an emphasis on improvement and making things work better. Connecting this talent to architecture happened while traveling during my break between high school and college. While casually sketching a building design based on some original ideas I realized that a career in architecture would utilize many of my natural strengths and talents. Later as I learned more about architecture and design I realized that this is what I wanted to do. Since that time I have:♦ Earned my BS in Architecture,♦ Become a licensed architect,♦ Worked 15+ years as project architect & project manager,♦ Attained LEED AP Building Design + Construction certification,♦ Passed Certified Document Specialist Certification exam♦ Project Architect for Award Winning Design As project architect the experience I've gained is broad and includes all phases of the design and construction process. My years of experience and project diversity have given me a comprehensive knowledge base upon which to draw. This includes urban planning, mixed-use, educational, municipal, correctional, residential and transportation building projects. I am highly organized, decisive, and driven by meeting deadlines, producing quality work, and strive to fulfill my client's vision and objectives. It gives me great satisfaction to meet my clients expectations. Collaboration and communication with others is key, and I enjoy working with people from multiple disciplines, including engineers, contractors, owners, and government officials.
