Eventually moved into testing and data collection for failure analysis, and disassembly/reassembly of returned products. Used spare time to teach myself SolidWorks.

Worked as a lab technician and general aid to design projects. Produced working prototypes of patent-pending tech, gained experience with precision soldering, and helped organize inventory.
