I have been in Telecommunications for 37 Years. The first 12 years were spent installing & testing carrier equipment. I went into engineering in 1984, as a system engineer for GTE Communications Systems. I was in Lightwave systems engineering with MCI for 4 years. Since 1991, I have been a Test Engineer involved with design verification and quality assurance with several telecommunications manufacturing companies. I was also an RF Tech for a cellular company for a year.I have extensive experience in testing and troubleshooting of communication systems and equipment. I have tried to evolve with the technology, from analog carrier to IP based systems.Since 2010, I have been learning about, and doing software test of, Industrial engine controllers and displays. FW Murphy is one of the leading manufactures of Industrial, Off-Highway and Marine engine controllers and displays. Specialties: I Developed and implemented test plans, methodologies, and topologies, based on the available resources, which resulted in documented test results, to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
