With a robust background in crime analysis and a strong foundation in social science research, I have developed a deep understanding of crime analysis principles and practices, coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.In my current role, I manage a diverse range of data sources, including interoffice investigation reports, body-worn camera footage, and police incident reports. My duties involve sorting, evaluating, and accurately updating this data in the Case Management System. My ability to quickly comprehend and interpret complex data and my commitment to presenting it clearly and concisely have been instrumental in supporting law enforcement efforts. My experience has equipped me with a thorough understanding of legal and constitutional considerations, enabling me to make informed decisions and effectively assist in data management.My academic journey, particularly through my master’s program, has deepened my knowledge of the intersection between psychology and law. I have explored complex issues, such as the relationship between victimology and newsworthiness, and proposed innovative solutions to improve practices. My thesis focused on implicit bias training for law enforcement officials, aiming to address and challenge existing training methods and ultimately enhance homicide clearance rates.Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in writing grant and research proposals, developing and managing research projects, and providing actionable insights.
