* Serve as main technical contact between departments for issue resolution.* Identify and resolve equipment problems; manage repairs and upgrades.* Coordinate testing protocols for software updates and new applications.* Create and maintain internal IT documentation.* Optimize system performance with hardware and software enhancements.* Adjust operational schedules based on resources and workload.* Track and analyze key production metrics.* Collaborate with application administrators and senior system administrators to resolve access issues.* Manage Active Directory groups, users, and systems.* Diagnose and resolve issues using Azure panel.* Support and train specialists in new child company in Canada.* Monitor, diagnose, and resolve network issues using firewall access.* Manage groups, licenses, and functionalities within O365.* Deploy and update software using RMM tools with custom scripts.* Resolve video conferencing technical issues.* Advise on best practices for software applications and cybersecurity.* Oversee technology procurement and inventory management.* Coordinate mass software upgrades and deployments.* Manage full lifecycle of employee technology resources.

* Manage and handle business clients' needs regarding their security, network, and systems* Quote and order servers, workstations, and related networking equipment for business clients* Travel to various clients' offices within the Greater Chicagoland Area and all over Illinois to assist onsite issues* Assist business clients remotely in order to troubleshoot and fix various issues* Pilot current and future marketing campaigns for KCS Computer Technology* Recommend upgrades to network equipment and systems for business clients* Communicate and assist other technicians with client work* Maintain a 24/7/365 availability for business clients* Keep up with the latest IT trends and security news in order to stay on top of any current or upcoming issues and implement patches for clients* Integrate third-party software for client needs with current or new systems and network equipment(i.e. Eagelsoft, RealTrac, Quickbooks, etc)* Manage cabling and general tidiness of server/network rooms* Troubleshoot and repair issues with desktops, laptops, phones, and tablets* Find and remove viruses, malware, adware, and spyware* Communicate with customers to meet all of their needs, as well as updating them on their repairs* Research, find, and order the correct parts needed for repairs and upgrades* Appropriately dispose of sensitive data* Recover data* Install operating systems* Take apart and recycle old hardware* Help manage company's social media
