About J. Casey Soward
I am excited to begin my role as President & CEO of the Boch Center in Boston in October 2024. The Boch Center, home to the iconic Wang and Shubert Theatres, is one of the nation’s leading nonprofit performing arts organizations. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to build on its rich history by expanding its reach and delivering world-class performances, education programs, and community initiatives that inspire audiences and build community.Prior to this, I served for nearly 10 years as the Executive Director of The Cabot Performing Arts Center, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring and reinvigorating the historic Cabot Theater in Beverly, MA. During my tenure, I led the artistic programming, fundraising, and community development efforts, as well as the restoration of the theater and the creation of Off Cabot Comedy and Events space. I have a deep passion for curating diverse and inclusive performances that connect with audiences across generations and backgrounds.
