Database administrator performing database design and programming (stored procedures and triggers), administering secure log-on for various client and user connections, database backups and performance tuning, replication and query optimizations for each client’s application data access to the server. I evaluated new software (third party tools, components, etc.) and researched the possibility of using or refactor the existing two-tier architecture into a multi-tier architecture using DCOM and Microsoft ActiveX.
