Senior Air Quality Consultant, Ph.D.Professional with 14 years of experience and participation in over 50 environment related projects, performing as a project manager in 10 of them. Has been instructor in several training courses, oriented to the industrial and public sectors issues regarding Air Quality. Was Lecturer in the "Air quality and pollution control" course, Andres Bello University in 2008 and 2009. Has four ISI publications and seven conference publications to date. Broad experience in consultancy, complemented with experience on the academic field.Vast experience in Air Quality Modelling applied on projects ranging from local to urban and regional scale, including: power plants, airports, water treatment plants, mining, smelters, concentrating plants, public transport, cities, and whole regions.Participation in several Air Quality projects in Chile and abroad, including studies with different geographical scopes, local and industrial impact estimations for Environmental Impact Assessments mainly, as well as larger scope studies for regional Air Quality Management plans and Cost-Benefit Studies. Experience in meteorological data processing, meteorological models such as CALMET, MM5 and WRF; and dispersion models such as ISC3, AERMOD, CALPUFF, ADMS URBAN, and EDMS.With experience in Regional Photochemical Modelling, specifically with the Comprehensive Air quality Model with extensions (CAMx) used in different projects in Chile at regional and national levels, and the UAM-IV model.PhD thesis in Life Cycle Analysis which includes resources management; energy and water supply; and impacts in the different environmental compartments (water, air, soil). This under the framework of sustainable development, industrial ecology and life cycle thinking. Including carbon footprint and water footprint estimations.
