As Head of Technology at Renegade Partners, Joseph leads the firm’s engineering team and technology efforts to provide leverage in sourcing, company research, and decisioning. Prior to Renegade, Joseph helped launch a best-in-class modern business intelligence platform as the founding VP of Product at Sigma Computing. He has led technical development teams and architected data and analytics systems in the Bay Area technology sector for the last 15 years, with an emphasis on AdTech, FinTech, and SaaS. He was an early advisor to cloud data platforms Snowflake, Fivetran, Coalesce, and Anomalo. Joseph graduated from Duke University with highest distinction in Music and Physics. Before starting his career in data, he worked in the music industry, mixing and editing for ensembles and scoring music for television. Joseph still sings professionally and dabbles in recording projects. An avid backpacker and athlete, his favorite current hobby is chasing his daughters around the park, biding his time before introducing them to the High Sierras.
