Translating Federal government skills and experience into the public sector to further my new career in local government. Through special assignments I am transitioning senior leadership skills by developing projects such as a District Managers Critical Information Request and Notification policy to guide appropriate district-related communications with the intent to inform Pueblo West leadership team members of Critical, Intermediate, and Non-emergency incidents and issues. This policy will enhance response time and keep all leadership informed, assisting them in making quick and informative decisions. Created a strategic planning goal system to track and facilitate flow of information from department directors to the district manager, and ultimately to the Board of Directors for Pueblo West. This system allows directors to update their goals monthly and annually, providing the district manager clear and concise progress reports aligned with the District’s strategic plan. Wrote articles for the Community Engagement and Communications department to be posted on the District’s social media platforms to inform and engage Pueblo West residents.

Serves as the Transportation Logistics NCOIC in support of the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4ID ; provides detailed strategic and theater specific planning; responsible for supervising, planning, coordinating and executing deployment and redeployment operations of equipment throughout the Brigade which is composed of seven Battalions totaling over 4,100 Soldiers and over 2200 Critical Combat and Support Vehicles; coordinates with transportation operating agencies for all joint and combined movement requirements; responsible for the Brigade's deployment and redeployment in support of FORSCOM exercise, National Training Center Rotation 16-09 and Operation AtlanticResolve (OAR).
